Position: Lead Production Associate (LPA)

The LPA supports the AOS by helping run daily production activities, coaching employees, monitoring accuracy, and ensuring work flows smoothly across the department.
What You'll Do
==================
LPAs are hands-on team leaders who support production goals and help maintain accuracy, safety, and communication. You will work across multiple functions and assist wherever needed to keep production on track.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Support
Assist the Area Operations Supervisor (AOS) with production tasks and daily operations
Lead and/or direct employees as needed to reinforce policies and procedures
Report safety violations, policy issues, or performance concerns to AOS immediately
Motivate employees, encourage teamwork, and promote a positive work environment
Production & Workflow
Perform multiple production tasks as a floater:
picking, stamping, replenishing, order selecting (on all equipment), loading, palletizing, and other functions as needed Audit orders, areas, and production processes to ensure accuracy
Train employees on functions, processes, or equipment as directed
Communication
Communicate employee issues, production problems, and workflow updates to AOS
Gather feedback from employees and relay both positive and negative items to AOS
Safety & Quality
Act as a safety/security liaison; address and report concerns immediately
Follow all production guidelines, sealing and securing product as required
Verify case/carton counts and maintain accurate records
Housekeeping & Organization
Maintain clean work areas, equipment, stamping machines, and conveyors
Update line summaries and ensure required documentation is completed and initialed
Team Flexibility
Assist other areas when short-staffed or when production requires additional support
Work until all assigned areas are completed or otherwise released by the AOS
Supervisory Responsibility

The LPA
does not have permanent direct reports
, but may provide direction to employees during production activities. Areas supported may include receiving, stamping, cigarette operations, picking, toting, strapping, palletizing, and auditing.
