Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. This role requires creativity, patience, and a strong commitment to early childhood education, ensuring that each child receives the attention and support they need to thrive.

Responsibilities

Create a nurturing and engaging learning environment addressing all areas of a child's development. Follow childcare licensing regulations and maintain accreditation standards Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns. Collaborate with colleagues to support children with diverse learning needs. Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social skills and emotional growth. Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness while ensuring all materials are age-appropriate. Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge in early childhood education.

Requirements

Associates degree in ECE or CDA Three years classroom teaching experience with children ages 2-5 Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices. Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. Familiarity with the Quality First program Understanding of special education needs and early intervention strategies is beneficial. Preferred experience working with children with speech and language delays Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
