Overview


We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Painter to oversee and execute painting projects across a variety of settings, including residential, commercial, and industrial environments. As a Lead Painter, you will be responsible for managing painting crews, ensuring quality standards are met, and delivering exceptional results that enhance and restore properties. Duties



Lead and coordinate painting crews on multiple projects, ensuring safety protocols and quality standards are upheld throughout each phase Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion Select appropriate paints, coatings, and finishes based on project specifications, color theory principles, and client preferences Read blueprints, schematics, and detailed schematics to accurately interpret project requirements and specifications Use hand tools, power tools, brushes, rollers, and other equipment efficiently to complete tasks with precision Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, and adherence to safety regulations on construction sites Train team members on proper techniques for commercial and residential painting, fixture installation, renovation tasks, and maintenance procedures Ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship in all aspects of painting and restoration

Requirements



Bi - Lingual Proven experience in residential painting, commercial painting, construction painting or industrial coating applications Knowledge of color theory to advise clients on color schemes that enhance aesthetics and functionality Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately for precise project execution Skilled in using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, scrapers; power tools including sanders and sprayers; caulking guns Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to project specifications Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Excellent leadership abilities with maintenance person experience preferred for managing diverse tasks efficiently Valid driver's license with reliable transportation to travel between job sites as required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
