Job Description

The Goddard School in the Highlands is currently seeking a full-time teacher position. Ages from our infant classrooms having ages as young as 6 weeks, and up to Pre-K up to age 6 years old.

Job Responsibilities include:

Responsible for the overall supervision and daily class functions of all students. Assesses each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basis. Drafts and implements lesson plans and daily classroom schedules and routines. Will conduct parent-teacher conferences and student evaluations with the teaching team. Maintains a clean, organized, well-kept classroom that promotes exploration, learning and safety. Assists in other capacities that the Director, Infant Program Supervisor, or Department head, determines is necessary. Attends all required staff meetings, professional development trainings, and school functions. Builds relationships and manages the classroom using positive guidance methods. Cultivates and maintains positive and collaborative co-teacher relationships.
