Lead Mold Maker



Hanson International, located in St. Joseph, Michigan, specializes in the design, build, sample, and inspection of precision molds - primarily for the die cast industry. Hanson International is currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill a night shift lead mold maker position.







DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project management. Machining of die components in a CNC machine tool (Milltronics preferred). Fitting die components to cavity and holder blocks Die spotting and bluing. Assembly and disassembly of dies. Plumbing of cooling circuits. Understand all machining processes used in mold/die manufacturing.

EXPERIENCE:

5 years in building die cast dies. Journeyman mold maker certificate.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

High School diploma. Active learning, good judgment, and time management skills. Strong math and communication skills. Ability to work as a team to achieve goals. Good mechanical knowledge. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
