Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced Lead Maintenance professional to oversee and coordinate maintenance activities within a manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in industrial mechanics, electrical systems, hydraulics, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). This role involves leading maintenance teams, ensuring equipment reliability, and implementing preventative maintenance strategies to optimize production efficiency. The Lead Maintenance will also be responsible for troubleshooting complex issues, reading schematics, and maintaining safety standards across the plant.

Responsibilities



Supervise and lead maintenance technicians in daily operations, ensuring timely completion of tasks. Perform and oversee repairs on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, electrical systems (high and low voltage), and mechanical components. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to schedule, track, and document maintenance activities. Diagnose issues using precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters; interpret schematics and technical manuals. Conduct troubleshooting on programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and industrial control systems to minimize downtime. Maintain safety protocols by adhering to OSHA standards and conducting safety inspections regularly. Coordinate with production teams to plan maintenance schedules that minimize impact on manufacturing operations. Lead field service activities including working at heights with scissor lifts or other elevated platforms when necessary. Support customer service initiatives by providing technical assistance and ensuring equipment performance meets quality standards. Train and mentor maintenance staff on best practices in industrial maintenance, welding ( welding), HVAC systems, and mechanical repairs.

Qualifications



Proven experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing environment; military background is a plus. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, electrical wiring (high voltage and low voltage), and schematics reading. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CMMS software, and precision measuring instruments. Skilled in welding ( welding), troubleshooting electrical issues using ammeters and ohmmeters, and performing preventive maintenance tasks. Ability to operate scissor lifts or similar equipment safely; relevant certifications preferred. Excellent analysis skills for diagnosing complex mechanical or electrical problems efficiently. Strong communication skills in English; customer service orientation is desirable. Industrial electrician experience or field service background is advantageous. Pay: $20.00 - $27.18 per hour
