Job Overview


We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee and execute maintenance operations within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, hydraulics, and mechanical troubleshooting. This leadership role requires a proactive approach to maintaining equipment reliability, ensuring safety standards, and supporting continuous production. The Lead Maintenance will coordinate maintenance activities, mentor team members, and collaborate with various departments to optimize operational efficiency.

Responsibilities



Lead and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance tasks across the manufacturing plant. Diagnose and repair complex machinery using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills. Manage electrical systems including high voltage and low voltage equipment, utilizing tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters. Oversee the operation of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and troubleshoot automation issues. Maintain and update CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) records for all maintenance activities. Perform welding (including welding), hydraulic repairs, HVAC/R servicing, and other mechanical repairs with precision. Operate industrial equipment such as scissor lifts safely to access elevated areas for maintenance or repairs. Ensure compliance with safety protocols related to high voltage, electrical systems, and field service operations. Train and mentor maintenance team members on best practices, schematics reading, and technical procedures. Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve machinery performance. Support technical sales initiatives by providing expert insights on equipment capabilities and maintenance needs.

Experience



Proven industrial mechanic or maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment. Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, and industrial automation. Skilled in hydraulics, welding ( welding preferred), HVAC/R systems, and precision measuring instruments. Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management. Ability to operate scissor lifts and other industrial equipment safely. Strong analysis skills for diagnosing complex mechanical or electrical issues efficiently. Experience working with industrial electricians or in field service roles is highly desirable. Military background or certifications in industrial maintenance are advantageous. Excellent communication skills in English are required to effectively lead teams and collaborate across departments. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
