As a Lead Infant or Toddler Teacher, you will be responsible for the coordination of all classroom operations, including lesson planning, parent communication and relationship-building, student engagement, lesson and activity facilitation, student bathroom and feeding habits, and more.

What makes you different...
  • Must be 19+ years of age.
  • 1 year of previous experience teaching in a licensed childcare program or working with young children ages infancy to kindergarten.
  • Knowledge of best practices and preschool educational methods and teaching strategies.
  • Knowledge of state education and licensing standards.
  • Maintains validation of credentials for the position (i.e. professional development).
  • Must be able to pass a background check without exemptions.
  • Must be able to bend and stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
Educational requirements...
  • Awarded High School Diploma or GED, and
  • Completed 60 semester hours (or 90 quarter hours) of college credits from an accredited university with at least 6 semester hours (9 quarter hours) in courses related directly to childcare, early childhood education, or child development, from birth to age six. OR
  • One year (1560 clock hours) of child development experience in a nursery school, kindergarten, or licensed day care center and completed 30 semester hours (45 quarter hours) of college credit from an accredited university with at least 6 semester hours (9 quarter hours) in courses related directly to childcare, early childhood education, or child development, from birth to age six OR
  • An awarded CDA in Infant/Toddler (must be current). OR
  • An awarded Childcare Professional Certificate from the National Child Care Association.
