Job Description

Little Marvels Montessori is currently seeking highly experienced and dependable people to provide nurturing and loving care to infants ages 6 weeks-18 months. We're looking for someone who is experienced, passionate about the children, the Montessori philosophy and takes pride in creating and sustaining the highest quality educational environment.

Responsibilities for Infant Teacher

Provide a safe and loving environment for the infants in her care Give bottles to infants as provided by parents and follow daily feeding/nap schedule Feed infants' solid foods as age appropriate and provided by parents Change diapers as needed (check every 30 minutes) Work with children on their gross motor skills and physical developmental milestones Put infants in cribs for nap time Ensure play, sleep and changing areas are kept clean Executing curriculum - sensorial, language, math, music, physical development, and more! Excellent Communication Skills - verbal (soft-spoken) Attitude to promote 100 percent child and parent satisfaction Fast Learner, Flexible, and Dependable Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing all company standards as directed Show and demonstrate respect and courtesy for colleagues and administration

Qualifications for Infant Teacher

Completion of the COVID-19 courses as designed by the state Child Care authority Meet annual professional development requirements, per state regulations Ability to pass background check Certification in child CPR - First Aid Caring individual who enjoys teaching young children Strong skills to communicate effectively with parents

Other Requirements:

Demonstrate the following qualities: self-motivation, self-direction, patience, ability to make good judgments, creativity, reliability, and dependability.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
