Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Lead Housekeeper to oversee and coordinate the daily cleaning operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive janitorial and hospitality experience, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction. This role offers an opportunity to lead a team, ensure efficient housekeeping processes, and uphold the cleanliness and safety of our environment.

Schedule would be Friday, Saturday and Sunday 9:30 am - 3 pm

Weekends only until busy season.

$18 a hour starting pay, 60 review with possible raise

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations Maintain high standards of cleanliness across all areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping team members to promote professional growth and adherence to protocols Assign tasks, and monitor performance to meet operational goals Oversee laundry operations, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distribution of linens and uniforms Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and quality standards Maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment Collaborate with management to develop cleaning procedures that improve efficiency and effectiveness Address guest or staff concerns promptly to uphold excellent service standards

Skills

Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within hospitality or commercial settings Supervising experience with a focus on team leadership and management in a housekeeping environment Strong knowledge of hotel or hospitality industry standards for cleanliness and safety Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Leadership qualities that motivate teams and foster a positive work environment Experience with laundry operations and commercial cleaning equipment is preferred Ability to train staff on proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all aspects of housekeeping management
Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 - 18.0 per week
