We are a medium-sized Michigan cultivator, centered on quality and genetics, looking to add a Lead Grower to our team. Owner-operated and caregiver-founded, we are seeking a like-minded individual with a passion for growing high-quality cannabis. We are looking to fill this role with someone who possesses extensive knowledge in growing indoor cannabis and has the mechanical skills necessary to ensure proper use and function of all climate control, irrigation, lighting, and any other systems used in cultivation. Duties: Oversee and manage all day-to-day activities of the cultivation staff required to keep the facility clean, organized, and operating at a steady, efficient, and uninterrupted state. Monitor all phases of plant growth by performing daily walk-throughs and scouting operations in all cultivation areas. Manage and monitor environmental control systems to ensure proper climate conditions in all areas of cultivation and ensure problems are dealt with promptly and any deviations from desired conditions are identified. Implement daily feed and care schedules as directed by the Director of Cultivation. Conduct routine visual inspection of plants to identify any pests/deficiencies and report findings to the Director of Cultivation. Execute and oversee IPM Program to detect problems early and ensure the execution of corrective action(s). Responsible for managing the health of mother plants and clones. Oversee propagation program and coordinate with the Director of Cultivation to ensure that propagation activities meet inventory requirements. Participates in cultivation planning activities such as calendar layouts, propagation planning, analysis, and any other planning activities deemed necessary. Remain current on continuing education and new or emerging technologies that may increase output and/or efficiency of the facility. Ordering of all products for day-to-day operations. To be considered for this role candidates MUST have all the following: Have at least 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in both indoor commercial cannabis cultivation and in management. Must be able to manage the activities and staff required to operate a 50,000sqft commercial grow facility containing 12 grow rooms and up to 5,000 plants. Have a strong understanding and experience with irrigation systems. Must be fluent or able to quickly obtain a functional knowledge of all company software platforms. (Aroya, Open Sprinkler, Agrowtek) Must have a thorough understanding of climate needs and adjustments. Possess detailed knowledge of indoor hydroponic cultivation practices, life cycle of cannabis, common pests of cannabis, and compliance pest treatment/prevention options in accordance with local and state laws and regulations and any EPA regulations. Current holder or ability to obtain a Private Pesticide Applicator license. Exceptional organizational and communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team. Knowledge of mechanics and function of irrigation and all climate control systems used throughout the facility (lighting, HVAC, CO2, etc.\xe2\x80\xa6) Attention to detail and decisive reasoning skills. Strong ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $70,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year Benefits:
