Position Summary
The Lead Front Desk Receptionist (Lead Burn Ambassador) is responsible for the leadership and management of the front desk team and all front-facing interactions with members. This role drives member experience, supports sales and marketing initiatives, and ensures smooth operations of the front-of-house. This position also oversees retail and merchandise sales, supports lead nurture, and helps create engaging social media content aligned with Burn Boot Camp standards.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Management
Lead, mentor, and manage the front desk team to ensure an outstanding member experience.
Provide clear direction and feedback to front desk staff to uphold service standards.
Organize and manage shift schedules and task assignments.
Ensure proper training and development of new front desk team members.
Member Experience & Communication
Serve as the first point of contact for new and existing members, both in-person and through digital platforms.
Manage check-ins, class bookings, and front desk systems with accuracy and friendliness.
Resolve member issues and concerns promptly and professionally.
Communicate upcoming events, promotions, and updates to members through verbal and written formats.
Sales, Lead Nurture & Suggestive Selling
Assist with member acquisition through phone, email, walk-ins, and social media engagement.
Follow up with leads to nurture interest and convert prospects into members.
Execute suggestive selling techniques to promote membership upgrades and add-on services.
Support and track retail product sales and inventory, ensuring displays are appealing and stocked.
Facility & Brand Management
Ensure the front desk area and common spaces are clean, organized, and aligned with brand presentation.
Capture and post content for social media in accordance with brand guidelines.
Assist in executing local marketing campaigns and events as needed.
Qualifications The ideal candidate is:
A strong leader of people and process
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and efficient
Experienced in customer service with exceptional interpersonal skills
A strong communicator, both verbally and in writing
Capable of multi-tasking, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines
Tech-savvy with confidence in using Microsoft Office and basic software systems
Confident in sales or willing to learn a simple sales process
Familiar with social media platforms and able to contribute to content creation
Requirements
1+ year of customer service or receptionist experience
Prior team leadership experience preferred
Strong computer skills, including Excel and POS systems
Availability to work flexible shifts, including early mornings and weekends
CPR/AED certification preferred but not required
Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12.0 - 15.0 per week
