True Solutions is seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Floor Technician to oversee and execute high-quality floor care services in commercial and institutional environments. The ideal candidate will have strong custodial experience, with expertise in floor care. This role is hands-on and leadership-focused, responsible for delivering high-quality floor maintenance while guiding and training supporting technicians.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily projects, including floor care, carpet cleaning, buffing, and general janitorial tasks
Perform advanced floor maintenance procedures such as stripping, waxing, polishing, and carpet extraction to ensure optimal appearance and longevity
Train and mentor team members on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and equipment usage
Conduct quality inspections to ensure compliance with company standards and client expectations
Safely mix and use cleaning chemicals according to guidelines
Adhere to all environmental health and safety regulations during cleaning activities
Operate Kaivac in Kitchens & Restrooms as assigned (we will train)
Other project work may be assigned.
Qualifications
2+ years experience in commercial floor care (Strip & wax required)
Strong knowledge of floor finishes, pads, chemicals, and techniques
Previous supervisory or lead experience preferred
Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills for training staff and interacting with clients
Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment by following all safety guidelines
Ability to lift 50+lbs and work on feet for extended period of time
