Lead. Financial Analyst, R&D Finance
The Lead Financial Analyst, R&D Finance, has a critical role within the EPIC finance team and UKG's broader FP&A organization. This is an exciting and challenging role for an initiative-taking, highly motivated, up and coming financial professional eager to support UKG's growing finance organization.
This position provides end-to-end financial support for key functions within the R&D organization interacting closely with various individuals from executive management to administrative support. The successful candidate possesses strong analytical and interpersonal skills with an eagerness to learn and grow within the organization.
How you will support the EPIC Finance organization:Support end-to-end planning and execution of various planning cycles throughout the year including annual budget, routine forecast updates, and multi-year long range planning models Consolidate and analyze monthly financial and operational results to understand their impact on the business and future forecasts and understand/communicate the "why" to finance and business stakeholders Work closely with R&D Finance leadership and other members of the EPIC Finance organization to enhance reporting capabilities and execute stretch projects across EPIC Finance Build relationships with business partners by meeting with them regularly to share financial results, prepare budget & forecasts, and to add value to their organization Create and maintain internal reporting packages, presentations, and dashboards that illustrate a well-thought-out story backed by strong data points and metrics to facilitate business decision making Develop, maintain, and enhance detailed financial models that track and analyze financial results, key metrics and their respective impact on EPIC's overall performance, address business opportunities and provide recommendations to business leaders Collaborate with Corporate FP&A, EPIC Finance leadership, and work closely with VP EPIC Finance to support function-wide strategic initiatives Prepare presentations for Corporate FP&A and EPIC quarterly business reviews ("QBR") Become an expert in TM1, D365, and other key systems within UKG to accelerate the forecast timeline, enhance reporting, and increase productivity within the team Develop and formulate key assumptions to accurately reflect business activities and help facilitate decision making for leadership Conceptualize, design, and build models to address business opportunities and provide recommendations to business leaders Think outside the box to develop new ways of working and reporting by leveraging UKG systems and tools


Required Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesAbility to think imaginatively and intuitively while quickly grasping and synthesizing new ideas Skilled to lead in formulating key assumptions to reflect business activities and help facilitate decision making for leadership Self-starter with the ability to work independently and prioritize deliverables Strong organizational and analytical skills to understand business requirements and track plan changes Capability to develop complex financial models with key attention to detail Effective communication skills; listening, written and verbal; ability to interact with staff at all levels of the Company Strong systems skills; specifically experience with ERP systems and data warehousing tools, Microsoft D365 and IBM TM1 a plus Advanced excel skills including strong data manipulation skills, PowerBI a plus

Experience, Education, Certification, License and TrainingB.A. in Finance, Accounting, or a related field MBA preferred 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis and modeling, working in a Technology company preferred

The pay range for this position is $102,300 to $127,325, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
