Lead Estimator
to drive our preconstruction efforts and help shape the foundation of our most important projects.
Your Role: Build the Blueprint for Success
As our Lead Estimator, you'll be at the front lines of project success--responsible for shaping competitive, well-executed bids that set our construction teams up to win. From reviewing drawings to collaborating with stakeholders and negotiating with subs, your work will be instrumental in every project's success.
What You'll Do:
Lead and manage the end-to-end estimating process for commercial renovation projects across the U.S.
Prepare full-scope estimates--including quantity take-offs, scope narratives, trade breakdowns, and pricing--from both plans and site visits.
Solicit, vet, and level subcontractor bids for accurate and competitive coverage.
Identify scope gaps, constructability concerns, and cost-saving opportunities through value engineering.
Maintain and grow a network of reliable subcontractors and vendors.
Collaborate closely with project managers, executives, and procurement teams to ensure alignment on scope, schedule, and budget.
Assist with bid submissions, proposals, GMPs, and lump sum pricing.
Review and interpret architectural and MEP drawings to ensure complete scope coverage.
What We're Looking For:
5+ years of estimating experience
with a General Contractor (required)
Proven experience in
multifamily, senior living, or hospitality renovations
Strong grasp of construction trades, sequencing, and pricing
Proficiency in Bluebeam, Excel, and related estimating tools
Ability to interpret construction drawings, specs, and addenda in detail
Excellent communication, critical thinking, and leadership skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management
