Lead Educator - Bridgton School House (AEC Micro School, Bridgton, Maine)

Bridgton School House offers a personalized, student-centered approach to learning. Rooted in the American Emergent Curriculum, our school serves a small, mixed-age cohort and emphasizes experiential learning, creativity, and collaboration within a warm, nurturing setting that supports the whole child.

Responsibilities

As the Lead Educator, you will:

Implement interdisciplinary lesson plans aligned with the American Emergent Curriculum. Foster a classroom culture that encourages curiosity, respect, and collaboration. Provide individualized support to nurture each student's unique strengths and address challenges. Collaborate with families and the broader educational network to ensure student success. Maintain a warm, inclusive environment that reflects the mission and values of Bridgton School House. Inspire and guide students to reach their full potential--academically, socially, and personally.
Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who possess:

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or a related field. At least three years of teaching experience, preferably with mixed-age groups. Familiarity with or enthusiasm for the American Emergent Curriculum. A passion for nonprofit, student-centered education. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. A commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable learning environment.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
