Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Lead Hanger located in the Knoxville Metropolitan Area. The Lead Hanger will oversee and carry out drywall installation tasks, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and meet quality standards. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting project blueprints, measuring and cutting drywall sheets, hanging drywall, ensuring proper alignment, and collaborating with other team members to meet project deadlines. The role also involves supervising team members, maintaining safety protocols, and problem-solving on job sites.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience needed
Proficiency in drywall installation, including measuring, cutting, and hanging drywall.
Experience in blueprint interpretation and project planning.
Leadership skills to manage a team and ensure project timelines are met.
Knowledge of workplace safety practices and OSHA guidelines.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
Previous experience as a Lead Hanger is preferred.
Physical stamina to perform labor-intensive tasks and work in diverse environments.
