About Us

: We are a fast-moving digital agency that builds high-conversion ecommerce sites. Our main focus is Shopify, but we also take on select CMS (WordPress, Hubspot, etc) projects. Our clients expect clean, scalable code. We are not looking for a page builder. We want a real developer who knows how to push the limits of Shopify and solve complex problems.

The Role

: We are looking to hire a USA-BASED Website Developer who is proficient in Shopify Plus and and Wordpress. It's a plus if you also have expertise in other CMS/Builders like GHL, Hubspot, Unbounce, and other tools, but the majority of our clients are hosted on Shopify and Wordpress, so this is where the most value can be added. You will also oversee web development when needed and help guide junior developers. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to write code, solve hard problems, and lead with experience.

The day-to-day for this position consists of making a variety of UI/UX enhancements to client websites, making updates to increase site speed, theme upgrades, and more. We also run a lot of A/B tests for clients using tools like Convert.com, so it's ideal that you have done A/B Test development as well through this tool, or similar.

Responsibilities:

Lead architecture and development of Shopify stores Build custom themes and advanced storefront features Write clean code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid Integrate with third-party APIs or create private apps Scope and plan technical work with project managers Review code and design to enforce development best practices Manage CMS builds as needed Stay current with Shopify (and other CMS) platform changes and tools Troubleshoot and improve performance across all projects Set up A/B Tests and Tracking for experimentation in Convert.com Work with our Technical Leads to establish a development workflow

Requirements:

At least 5 years of professional web development experience At least 4 years of advanced Shopify development (not just theme edits) Strong knowledge of Liquid, the Shopify API, and Shopify Plus Solid JavaScript skills including vanilla JS and modern frameworks Experience with Git and command line tools Ability to explain technical decisions to non-technical teammates Familiarity with WordPress development (not the main focus but helpful)
Job Type: Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
