What you'll do

Lead and mentor a team of dental assistants, promoting best practices in patient care and chairside assisting. Manage patient flow and ensure efficient operation of the clinic, utilizing EMR systems such as Dentrix. Perform four-handed dentistry techniques, assisting the dentist during procedures while maintaining a high standard of infection control. Conduct X-ray imaging and medical documentation, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide exceptional support in pediatric dentistry, making visits comfortable and enjoyable for young patients. Maintain accurate medical records and coding, facilitating seamless communication within the dental team. Stay updated on dental terminology and anatomy knowledge to enhance patient interactions and education.

Basic qualifications

Proven experience in dental assisting with a strong foundation in general dentistry practices. Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and vital signs monitoring. Knowledge of prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry principles.

Preferred qualifications

Strong understanding of dental terminology and coding practices. Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a dental clinic setting.
