Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Lead Counselors to join our team. The ideal candidates will provide high-quality mental health counseling and support to individuals and families, focusing on a variety of mental health issues, including addiction, behavioral challenges, and developmental disabilities. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Duties



Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and intake evaluations to determine individual needs and develop tailored treatment plans. Provide individual and group counseling sessions utilizing various therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), art therapy, and motivational interviewing. Implement crisis intervention strategies and manage acute situations effectively. Maintain accurate medical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and case management records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Engage in ongoing data collection to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for patients with complex needs. Facilitate group therapy sessions focusing on topics such as conflict management, behavioral management, and gender issues counseling. Offer specialized support for children and families through child & family counseling and health and wellness workshops. Provide education on mental health issues, coping strategies, and resources available for patients and their families.

Experience


Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:

Home & community care experience is preferred. Proficiency in addiction counseling, social work practices, and behavioral therapy techniques. Experience working with children, including knowledge of special education needs. Familiarity with patient care protocols, diagnostic evaluations, and case management practices. Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, and documentation standards. Experience in crisis management and intervention strategies. Pay: From $80,833.05 per year
