As a Magic Rock City lead clerk, you will be huge part of our success by giving the best customer experience and by ensuring our customers get their hands on the rocks, crystals incense, candy, and other items they desire. You will share knowledge, stock product, clean, organize, and ensure the shop is visibly appealing to maintain our magical atmosphere.

What You Will Do

Engage and greet all customers warmly and assist them with their inquires. Provide a magical shopping experience that will encourage customer to be returning and loyal customers. Cover the sales floor areas and make sure they are up to visual standards. Process sales transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system. Maintain knowledge of current promotions, products, and services to provide informed recommendations. Stock shelves, rotate product, clean the store, and organize merchandise to ensure a neat and inviting store appearance. Conduct product demonstrations to engage customer and promotes sales. Communicate your magical thoughts and ideas with customers and coworkers alike. Deter theft by being aware and attentive to all customers. Perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction. Provide direction and guidance to store clerks to meet store and management goals. Carry store keys, Open and Close the store. Maintain an excellent attendance record. Work and perform with compliance to Magic Rock City's Company Personnel Conduct Policy. Any other activities assigned by store leadership.

What You Need

Previous experience in retail or sales is required. Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive shopping experiences. Familiarity with retail math concepts to assist in inventory management and sales reporting. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with effective phone etiquette. Ability to work flexible hours, including holidays, evenings and weekends as needed. Ability to lift 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations. Ability to stand for long periods of the day, up to 8 hours. Be able to meet working age and legal requirements. Ability to learn new skills and ways of doing business. Ability to work with Management and communicate store goals to store clerks.
