Overview

Learn With Me Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Child Care Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. This role involves engaging with children in various activities that promote their physical, emotional, and intellectual development. The Child Care Teacher will implement educational programs that align with our curriculum and support the overall growth of each child.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that foster learning in areas such as math, physical education, and childhood development. Utilize behavior management techniques to maintain a positive classroom environment. Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians regarding their child's development. Create a safe and welcoming classroom atmosphere that encourages exploration and creativity. Engage children in various activities, including arts and crafts, outdoor play, and group games to enhance their social skills. Collaborate with other educators to develop a cohesive curriculum that meets the needs of all children. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations related to child welfare. Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, progress reports, and any incidents that may arise.

Qualifications

A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred, but not required. Experience working in a preschool or childcare setting is required. Strong understanding of childhood development principles and practices. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that incorporate various subjects including math and physical education. Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children are essential traits for success in this role. Certification in First Aid and CPR.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
