Lead Case Aide

Summary of the Job:


The Lead Case Aide is responsible for providing oversight to other case aides while providing case management support, serving as a resource for school and families, and providing additional support for youth in assigned program. The Case Aide should be committed to Sanctuary practice utilizing tools that reinforce our shared language to create a trauma-responsive culture.

Minimum Qualifications

:
At least 21 years of age. Master's degree (from an accredited school) in social work, psychology, education counseling with two years' experience in the field of childcare. Bilingual Spanish/English. Possess the ability, flexibility, and maturity to render the duties and responsibilities required of this position. Problem solving ability; able to develop and implement procedures. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in agency required computer skills. Adequate training or experience to demonstrate the possessions of knowledge and skills necessary to perform the duties and tasks assigned to this position. Handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Able to show proof of required vaccinations/immunizations.

Primary Responsibilities:


Supervise case aide(s) providing individual supervision and training. Prepare and conduct staff performance appraisals on schedule. Ensure case aide staff achieve required training hours. Maintain client case record to include intake documentation, service plan and all other required documentation on time and accurately. Maintain case records and other required documentation to assure full compliance with agency, licensing, accreditation, and ORR contract requirements. Effectively utilize computer software systems used by the agency, program, and contractors to support client records and requirements. Potential travel with clients via plane or auto for reunification, and provide local transport support for family visits, court, or other appointments. Assist in implementing a plan for the client's permanency, which may include providing travel support for the client during discharge to identified placement. Process intake according to agreed procedures and standards. Provide all required documentation for assigned duties, meeting deadlines for required reports. Provide support to House Managers and Youth Care Workers, filling in as needed. Utilize personal safety plan for managing emotions and interactions with staff and clients. Maintain a supportive caseload as assigned by the agency. * On-Call duties as assigned.
