Lead Carpenter

Compensation:

$32-$35/hour

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Contract Length:

1 Year Position

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter to join our team for a one-year construction project. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, extensive blueprint knowledge, and a commitment to workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate daily carpentry operations on-site Read, interpret, and work from construction blueprints and technical drawings Ensure all work meets quality standards and project specifications Maintain OSHA safety standards and promote a safe work environment Supervise and mentor crew members as needed Communicate effectively with project managers and other trades
Required Qualifications

Valid OSHA certification and completed OSHA safety training Extensive experience reading and interpreting construction blueprints Proven carpentry expertise and leadership capabilities Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Reliable transportation and punctuality Ability to work full-time schedule (7 AM - 3 PM)
Preferred Qualifications

Ground-up building experience (new construction from foundation to completion) Experience with commercial or residential construction projects
