Overview

We are seeking a personable and experienced

Lead Bartender

to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment, with experience in fine dining, nightlife, or catering settings. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, engaging with guests, and ensuring a memorable experience for all patrons. A strong understanding of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, along with excellent time management skills, is essential to succeed in this position.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately using POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS. Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards. Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change. Restock bar supplies as needed, monitor inventory levels, and communicate supply needs to management. Ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws and regulations, including checking IDs for legal drinking age. Collaborate with kitchen staff during events such as banquets or catering functions to ensure seamless service delivery. Handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail.

Experience

Prior experience working as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is advantageous. Proven ability in food safety practices, food handling, and responsible alcohol service. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously. Experience in retail math, basic math skills, cash handling, and cashiering are essential for accurate transactions. Knowledge of brewing techniques or beverage crafting is a plus for creating specialty drinks. Previous experience in hospitality or food industry roles that involve serving or catering will be beneficial. Pay: From $14.50 per hour
