Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. Must have over 2+ years of experience and hold a current bartender's license. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and extensive knowledge of beverage service in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to ensure an outstanding guest experience in a fine dining setting. A background in food safety, food handling, and retail math is essential, along with proficiency in POS systems. Previous banquet, catering, or food industry experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the bartending team to deliver high-quality service consistently Manage bar operations during shifts, including inventory control and stock replenishment Prepare and serve a variety of beverages with precision and flair Ensure compliance with all food safety and alcohol regulations Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing concerns promptly Train new staff on proper serving techniques, POS usage, and safety procedures Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with health standards Assist in event setups such as banquets or catering functions as needed Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to maximize revenue

Requirements

2+ years of proven experience as a bartender with a strong background in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings Demonstrated leadership skills with previous supervisory or lead roles in food service or hospitality Proficiency in POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy shifts Strong customer service orientation with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling, and responsible alcohol service Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and sales tracking Experience in brewing or the food industry is a plus Ability to work flexible hours including nights; experience working in nightlife or catering environments is advantageous Must be personable, professional, and able to work well under pressure
