The Conrad Mansion Wedding & Event Venue is seeking an energetic and experienced Lead Bartender to elevate our beverage service and lead our bar team with enthusiasm and professionalism. In this role, you will oversee bar operations for weddings, craft exceptional cocktails, and ensure an outstanding customer experience in a vibrant hospitality environment. Your leadership will inspire teamwork, uphold drink safety standards, and drive sales through excellent service and product knowledge. Duties

Lead and motivate the bartending team to deliver top-tier service, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times. Oversee bar operations, including opening, closing, and shift management Prepare and serve a variety of beverages with precision, creativity, and consistency Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards Manage POS systems for accurate order processing and cash handling Monitor inventory levels, place orders for supplies, and minimize waste through efficient stock management Train new team members on drink recipes, customer service protocols, POS usage, and safety procedures Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and foster a welcoming atmosphere Ensure adherence to all food safety regulations including proper food handling and sanitation practices Collaborate with kitchen staff for seamless food and beverage pairing during events like banquets or catering functions

Skills

Extensive experience with POS systems is essential for smooth transactions Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively in a high-energy environment Strong knowledge of beverage recipes, brewing techniques, and acceptable dining service standards Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours Exceptional customer service skills to create memorable guest experiences in nightclubs or upscale venues Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory management Knowledge of food safety protocols including proper food handling and sanitation practices Experience with banquet service, catering events, or retail alcohol sales is highly desirable Familiarity with serving alcohol responsibly while adhering to legal regulations

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
