Job Description

We are seeking a lead overnight baker to join our team! You must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and help drive operational excellence throughout our expanding team.

Lead Baker Job Responsibilities:

Prepares, produces, and bakes cakes, cookies, pastries, and other baked goods. Decorates baked goods as required. Trains new bakers, provides ongoing guidance to team members, and models strong leadership during overnight shifts. Sets time and speed controls for mixing or blending machines to ensure proper preparation of ingredients. Measures and weighs flour and other ingredients to prepare batters, doughs, fillings, or whipped cream using scales or graduated containers. Prepares garnishes as needed for baked goods. Maintains adequate supply of all prepared products and ensures proper storage and refrigeration. Minimizes spoilage and waste by ordering efficiently, rotating products, and repurposing leftovers. Lines up baked products in mobile carts according to outlet or event needs. Cleans, breaks down, and properly stores all baking equipment including ovens, mixers, proofers, floors, freezers, and refrigerators.

Lead Baker Qualifications/Skills:
