Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Glass Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and replacement of automotive glass components. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience in auto glass services, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and replace automotive glass including windshields, side windows, and rear windows. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to perform glass installations and repairs. Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify any additional needs related to auto glass or vehicle maintenance. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding services performed and any necessary follow-up. Assist in detailing vehicles post-service to ensure they meet quality standards before returning to customers. Utilize knowledge of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) when applicable during installations or repairs.

Requirements

Previous dealership experience is preferred but not mandatory. Proficiency in auto glass installation techniques and familiarity with auto body repair processes. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. Experience using hand tools, power tools, and performing heavy lifting as required for the role. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices is a plus. Ability to perform auto estimating for glass-related services. Experience in window tinting is advantageous but not required. A commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail is essential for success in this position.

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
