Job Description

Overview:

The Lead Assembler is responsible for assemble, inspect, and troubleshoot products and sub-components using hand tools and power tools.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Inspects parts to assure they are clean and free of contaminates. Remove visible dirt, grit oil, grease and other foreign matter from valve product parts, prior to assembly. Reviews and verifies work/sales order to customer requirements. Verify parts per bill of material and drawings. Assemble parts in proper sequence, as specified in the drawings or method specifications. Assembles components to applicable procedures using lubricants, power tools, torques wrenches, specialty tools, etc. Creates and attaches nameplates. Performs all duties in a safe manner and keeps all employees aware of dangers in work area. Practices good housekeeping in work area. Utilizes & abides by ISO/API and Safety Procedures.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or equivalent work experience (1 year). Well organized and able to work minimal supervision Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to operate required equipment necessary for task at hand
