Title - CST L&D

Location - Bozeman, MT

Shift - Variable shift

Guaranteed hours - 36 hrs

Contract Duration - 4 weeks

Overview

The Surgical Technologist serves as a scrub person in the operating room, working under the supervision of the surgeon and R.N. This role ensures a safe OR environment, proper functioning of equipment, and smooth execution of surgical procedures. The ideal candidate has expertise in surgical techniques, human anatomy, instrumentation, and technology to facilitate safe and efficient patient care during invasive procedures.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain case carts according to preference cards. Communicate with OR staff and sterile processing to coordinate instruments for scheduled and unscheduled procedures. Review daily schedule with charge nurse and SPD coordinator to anticipate turnover delays or scheduling conflicts. Manage OR communications, delegate duties, and coordinate staff breaks/lunches. Serve as a resource for SPD and Surgical Services to procure necessary supplies and instrumentation. Coordinate with Materials Management regarding supply utilization and deployment. Complete all required education per DNV, Bozeman Health policy, and registry requirements.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program or equivalent military program American Heart Association BLS Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) 1 year of acute care OR experience required.
Job Type: Contract

Pay: $2,320.00 - $2,368.00 per week

Work Location: In person
