The Lawn Production Manager at ETCH Outdoor Living leads the day-to-day operations of our Lawn Care Division. This position ensures lawn care services are delivered on time, on budget, and to ETCH standards of excellence. The role is responsible for managing crews, coordinating with internal teams, and developing repeatable systems that allow for scalable growth and increased efficiency.
This leader owns production performance in mowing, fertilization, irrigation, and seasonal maintenance while cultivating a team that takes pride in quality work and continuous improvement.

Production Efficiency
Daily and weekly production targets are consistently met or exceeded, measured in revenue per hour and job completion rates.
Crews leave the shop by 7:08 AM on at least 95% of workdays during the peak season.
Quality and Customer Satisfaction
Lawn care services achieve a 98%+ internal quality score based on routine property audits and customer feedback.
Service reworks and callbacks remain under 3% total time on a monthly & annual basis.
Team Development and Retention
New crew leads are trained and operating independently within 30 days of onboarding.
Seasonal turnover is under reduced year-over-year through improved leadership and engagement.
System and Process Optimization
Daily workflows are documented, improved, and repeatable, enabling operational scalability.
Aspire and PropertyIntel data is updated daily and maintained with 100% accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Crew Leadership and Training
Manage, train, and support lawn care crews and crew leads.
Deliver consistent coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations.
Ensure compliance with ETCH standards, safety protocols, and SOPs.
Scheduling and Routing Oversight
Coordinate with the Lawn Scheduling Coordinator to execute and adapt daily and weekly production schedules.
Use Aspire and PropertyIntel to optimize routing and improve labor utilization.
Quality Assurance
Conduct field inspections and property audits weekly.
Identify performance gaps and take corrective action to ensure high service quality.
Equipment and Inventory Coordination
Collaborate with the Fleet & Facility Manager to ensure vehicles, mowers, and application equipment are field-ready each morning.
Monitor supply levels (fertilizers, seed, irrigation parts) and request replenishment in alignment with seasonal needs.
Snow and Ice Management (Seasonal)
Lead the execution of snow and ice management operations during winter months, including crew coordination, site assignments, and service verification.
Ensure all equipment is prepped, calibrated, and deployed in alignment with weather events and service agreements.
Coordinate with the Fleet & Facility Manager for pre-storm readiness and with the Account Manager for post-event reporting and customer communication.
KPI and Budget Tracking
Track and review performance data and KPIs weekly with leadership.
Identify trends in labor hours, material usage, and revenue per job to drive profitability.
Minimum 3 years of experience in lawn care or landscape production management.
Strong proficiency with Aspire or comparable industry software.
Proven ability to lead field teams and manage multiple jobsites in a dynamic, seasonal business.
Mechanically proficient with a good understanding of commercial lawn equipment.
Excellent time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
