? Westmoreland Manor is seeking applicants for two part-time Laundry Workers!
The purpose of this position is to dry and fold linens, towels, and clothing for residents and various departments of a long-term skilled nursing facility. Part-time laundry workers should expect to work at least 24 hours per week, including weekend work, as well as commit to 1,000 hours per rolling year. Job duties include but are not exclusive or all-inclusive:
Loads and unloads dryers
Folds blankets, towels, linens, and personal items
Fills and delivers carts of cleansed and folded laundry to units
Cleans lint filters on dryers
Requirements include
the ability to operate a variety of laundry equipment including washers, dryers, folding machines, etc., and maneuver/lift objects weighing up to 75 pounds. Must be able to comprehend and interpret daily linen supply records and follow verbal and written instruction. Must be able to work effectively in a laundry room environment with varying temperature and humidity. Applicants must be a high school graduate or equivalent. Laundry workers may occasionally be trained and fill-in one the washing side of the department working with soiled items.

: Lift test required to observe ability to safely and efficiently lift up to 75 pounds. Test to be administered by facility.
