Laundry Worker
Job Description
Our hotel is seeking a Laundry Attendant to wash and dry sheets, towels, tablecloths, and uniforms. The Laundry Attendant will be responsible for keeping laundry area neat and organized, and will work and communicate effectively with other staff members. The Laundry Attendant also has the responsibility of receiving and distributing clean laundry, as well as folding the laundry items to be returned to guest rooms.
Responsibilities:
Acknowledge and understand all verbal and written instructions for handling laundry.
Synchronize equipment and machinery to ensure that all laundry is cleaned, dried and folded correctly and on time.
Remove stains from fabric.
Clean equipment and machinery when needed.
Sort clean laundry.
Identify damaged cloths that require repair or disposal.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
