Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate all aspects of laundry operations, including washing, drying, folding, and distribution of linens and garments. Lead and motivate a team of housekeeping or janitorial staff to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality output. Implement and monitor cleaning protocols to uphold hygiene standards across all laundry areas. Manage inventory levels of laundry supplies, detergents, and equipment to prevent shortages and optimize usage. Conduct regular inspections of laundry facilities to ensure safety, cleanliness, and operational efficiency. Train staff on proper laundry techniques, safety procedures, and customer service expectations. Collaborate with hotel or hospitality management teams to meet specific linen or uniform requirements while adhering to brand standards.

Requirements

Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hotel housekeeping management with a focus on laundry services. Supervising experience in a commercial cleaning or hospitality environment demonstrating leadership capabilities. Strong knowledge of laundry equipment operation, maintenance, and safety procedures. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Effective communication skills for supervising staff and coordinating with other departments. Background in janitorial or custodial work with an understanding of hygiene standards is preferred. Management experience in hospitality or hotel settings is highly desirable.
