Job Summary

The Hancock County Workshop is looking for a Laundry Lead, where you will ensure the quality, and timely delivery of laundry services. This position requires someone who can oversee daily laundry operations, maintain standards of cleanliness. If you thrive in a fast-paced setting this is the perfect opportunity for you to lead with enthusiasm and precision.

Duties

Daily laundry operations, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, linen Ensure all laundry is processed efficiently and meets quality standards before delivery. Coordinate with supervisors and staff to assign tasks, to promote a collaborative work environment Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area to ensure safety and operational efficiency. Properly use equipment such as washer, dryers and other equipment.

Requirements

Ability to effectively maintain attention to detail and quality control Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Good communication skills to coordinate with supervisor and other departments Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift 50 pounds when necessary
