National disaster restoration company specializing in the restoration of both commercial and residential laundry and dry cleaning is seeking a reliable, intelligent, and diligent Textile Department Laundry / Dry Cleaning Attendant to join our team. Typical duties include, but are not limited to: - Understand the workflow of the department, separating laundry according to care labels, cleaning of all textiles (clothing and household items), and the ability to operate all equipment associated with the textile department. - Responsible for accurate inventory throughout the textile cleaning process while coordinating with staff, customers, and vendors. - Able to run washers and dryers, as well as inventory, triage and clean laundry. Requirements: - Minimum of 1 year of experience in the laundry/dry cleaning industry - Able to work efficiently and effectively in a team environment - Attention to detail and accuracy - Knowledge of dry-cleaning or laundry processes and procedures, preferred but not required - Computer knowledge and strengths in multi-tasking and prioritizing - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills - Valid Drivers License with satisfactory driving record - Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred - Ability to lift 50 pounds with assistance Job Type: Full-time Job Type: Full-time Salary: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour Benefits:
