Responsibilities

Operate laundry machines and equipment to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing with precision and care Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results Perform dry cleaning procedures for delicate or special-care garments using appropriate solvents and techniques Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas by regularly sanitizing workstations, tools, and storage spaces Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies such as detergents, fabric softeners, and cleaning agents, requesting restock when needed Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for chemicals used in cleaning processes Assist with general cleaning duties around the hotel or facility to uphold hygiene standards

Requirements

Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided Knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, folding, and dry cleaning processes Strong attention to detail to ensure all linens are spotless and properly maintained Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks efficiently Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe working environment Familiarity with hotel or hospitality industry standards is a plus
