Responsibilities

Operate commercial laundry equipment to wash and dry linens Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results. Perform stain removal and pre-treatment procedures to maintain the quality of linens and garments. Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas, including washing machines, dryers, folding stations, and storage spaces. Manage inventory levels of laundry supplies such as detergents, fabric softeners, and cleaning agents; notify management when supplies need replenishing. Manage inventory levels of company linens, towels, and bedding Follow safety protocols related to handling chemicals and operating machinery to ensure a safe work environment. Prepare laundry bags according to daily cleaning schedule. Ability to install and utilize phone apps on a daily basis. Support other housekeeping or maintenance tasks as needed to uphold our vacation rental home cleanliness standards.

Skills

Proven experience in laundry operations or cleaning services within a hospitality or hotel environment is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, folding, stain removal, and dry cleaning procedures. Excellent attention to detail to ensure linens are spotless and well-maintained. Ability to operate commercial laundry machines safely and efficiently. Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads when necessary. Ability to carry and relocate full linen bags Fluent in English Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and following instructions accurately. Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
