Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within our facility, ensuring that all laundry items are handled efficiently and with care. This position is essential for providing high-quality service to our guests and maintaining the standards of cleanliness expected in a hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently. Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, and garments according to established procedures. Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring garments are treated with appropriate care. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, including regular cleaning of machines and workspaces. Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and report any shortages to management. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while handling chemicals and equipment. Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests regarding laundry services promptly.

Experience

Previous experience in laundry services or a similar role is preferred but not required. Familiarity with cleaning techniques and equipment used in the laundry process is advantageous. Experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is a plus, as it provides insight into guest expectations for cleanliness. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential for success in this role.
