Responsibilities

Operate laundry machines such as washers, dryers, and specialty equipment to process linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing with precision and care. Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results. Perform dry cleaning procedures for delicate or special items using appropriate chemicals and equipment. Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas by regularly sanitizing machines, work surfaces, and storage spaces. Monitor inventory levels of linens and cleaning supplies; notify management when stock needs replenishing. Follow safety protocols when handling chemicals and operating machinery to ensure a safe working environment. Assist with the organization of clean linens in designated storage areas for easy access by staff. Support other housekeeping or hotel staff as needed to uphold overall cleanliness standards across the property.

Qualifications

Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates. Knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, folding, and stain removal. Familiarity with dry cleaning processes is a plus. Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting linens or operating machinery. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently. Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork. Pay: From $10.00 per hour
