LAUNDRY ATTENDANT

The Courtyard by Marriott Jacksonville has an exciting opportunity for a Laundry Attendant and are actively looking to meet the best and brightest talent that the hospitality industry has to offer. Responsibilities:

• Operate hotel laundry facility
• Ensure adequate supply of linen and towels available to meet demand
• Receive dirty linen and separate linens and towels by type
• Wash and dry laundry following hotel policies and procedures
• Prioritize loads as needed
• Report supply needs to management as needed
• Report any maintenance issues with equipment to management
• Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the laundry room
• Follow all safety and OSHA regulations and other applicable state and local

• Previous laundry or housekeeping experience a plus, but will train the right fit
• Ability to lift 25-30 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds with assistance
• Ability to stand and walk most of the shift
• Strong attention to detail
• Must be able to follow written and verbal directions
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with multiple interruptions
• A can-do attitude and a hands-on approach
• A flexible schedule that allows availability days, nights, holidays, and weekends based on the demands of the hotel
