Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and proper handling of linens, towels, and other laundry items in a fast-paced environment. This role is essential in maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentation within our facility, contributing to a positive guest experience. Prior hotel or hospitality experience is a plus, but not required. The Laundry Attendant will work efficiently to meet operational needs while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Duties

Operate laundry machines and equipment to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, and guest clothing Sort laundry items according to type and color to prevent damage Perform dry cleaning and stain removal as needed to ensure items are in pristine condition Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area, including cleaning machines and work surfaces Follow safety procedures when handling chemicals and operating machinery Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and report shortages or issues Ensure timely processing of laundry to meet operational deadlines Adhere to hotel policies and standards for hygiene, safety, and customer service

Skills

Experience with laundry operations, including washing, drying, and folding techniques Knowledge of cleaning procedures and stain removal methods Familiarity with dry cleaning processes is advantageous Previous hotel or hospitality experience is preferred but not mandatory Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong organizational skills and ability to follow safety protocols Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
