Laundry Attendant
Job Description
Job Summary: To ensure the proper washing and drying of laundry to keep the Hampton Inn's high standards.
Summary of Essential Job Functions
Operate washing and drying equipment, and load and unload laundry from machines. Measure and administer cleaning agents to laundry according to product specifications.
Inspect all linen to ensure it is hair/stain free.
Monitor feeder information on washers, make sure all drums are full, and report any irregularities to immediate supervisor.
Ensure all linen that is old or torn is taken out of inventory and logged in discarded linen log.
Ensure all linens are folded properly and kept as wrinkle free as possible.
Set the proper drying and cooling times for different types of linen.
Clean up machines and surrounding areas.
Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
