We are seeking an Afternoon, Full-time Laundry Aide/Housekeeper to join our team at Optalis of Allen Park. The Laundry Aide will be responsible for ensuring that all laundry is cleaned and folded properly.
Responsibilities
Wash, Dry, Fold and distribute linens, towels, and residents personal clothing. Ensure that all laundry is cleaned, folded, and put away properly. Report any maintenance issues or concerns to the appropriate personnel. Follow all safety and infection control procedures. Light housekeeping. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent Prior laundry experience preferred. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
