We are currently seeking a dedicated Laundry Aide

to help keep our facility running smoothly by ensuring units are fully stocked with clean linens and residents' personal items are properly laundered and returned. The Laundry Aide will be responsible for collecting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing laundry while maintaining a safe and sanitary environment.

Laundry Aide Requirements

High School diploma or GED preferred Ability to provide high-quality laundry services in a resident-centered environment Strong organizational and time-management skills Effective written and verbal communication skills Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities Ability to work semi-independently while following facility policies Ability to manage multiple tasks and handle frequent interruptions

Responsibilities

As a Laundry Aide, you will:


Collect, wash, dry, fold, and distribute laundry throughout the facility Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and risk management guidelines Follow all safety procedures, including proper PPE use and adherence to MSDS regulations Safely handle potential exposure to hazardous materials and infectious agents Collaborate with housekeeping and laundry staff as part of a supportive team Maintain cleanliness and uphold all facility policies and procedures
