Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Laundry Services:

Wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens, towels, and residents' personal clothing, ensuring all items are cleaned according to facility standards.

Sorting & Inventory:

Sort and organize laundry based on type and owner. Maintain accurate records of resident laundry requests and items.

Cleaning & Maintenance:

Ensure laundry rooms are kept clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies. Follow all safety and sanitation protocols when handling laundry equipment.

Supply Management:

Assist with maintaining an adequate supply of linens and clothing for residents. Report any shortages to management.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with other team members to ensure that laundry operations are carried out efficiently and that residents' needs are met in a timely manner.

Resident Engagement:

Handle resident laundry with care, ensuring their items are returned in a timely and respectful manner.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (required) Previous laundry or housekeeping experience (preferred) Ability to operate laundry equipment and follow cleaning guidelines Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Compassion for and a desire to work with the elderly Ability to work independently and as part of a team
