South Valley Care Center is seeking a dependable and hardworking

Laundry Aide

to join our team. This position plays an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents by ensuring all linens and clothing are properly cleaned, sanitized, and organized.

Position Details:

Sunday - Thursday (10-hour shifts)

Responsibilities:

Gather soiled linens and resident clothing from nursing units Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens and clothing Load and unload washers and dryers safely and efficiently Deliver clean linens to nursing units and clothing to resident rooms Sweep and mop laundry area floors daily Disinfect linen carts and maintain cleanliness of all laundry equipment Keep laundry area organized and free of clutter Check lint traps regularly for buildup Wear proper uniform and name badge Follow all facility policies and procedures Attend and comply with all required in-service trainings Treat residents with dignity and respect at all times

Qualifications:

Bilingual preferred Must be at least 18 years old Must be able to read and follow simple instructions, including safety and equipment directions Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining a professional and courteous attitude Must maintain excellent attendance and a neat, clean appearance at all times Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position
