Retail Store Attendant

We are currently seeking a part-time Laundry Attendant with flexible availability to work 20-25 hours per week, including both weekend and weekday shifts.

General

This position is the most customer facing position in our organization and our goal is to "wow" the customer from the first greeting at the door to the final "goodbye, see you next time!" We are NOT your typical laundromat experience in both facilities and customer experience and this begins with the Retail Store Attendants and their interaction with our community.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Our Retail Store Attendants' primary responsibilities are to provide outstanding customer service, maintain a high level of cleanliness in the store and to process (wash, dry and fold) Drop Off Laundry orders according to specific customer preferences at a high level of quality.

This will include but is not limited to, Self Serve Laundromat customers, Drop Off Laundry customers, the general public and our Pickup & Delivery Customers.

The ability to think on your feet and improvise is helpful. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a major plus.

Minor Duties and Responsibilities

Greet/Welcome customers upon arrival Provide a mini tour of the store as requested. Be proactive in meeting customer needs. Shift & Detail Cleaning as directed. Assist customers with using any equipment and machines and in time become a subject matter expert on their usage. Check in and out Drop Off orders. Wash, Dry and Fold Drop Off and Pickup & Delivery Laundry orders. Sell retail products over the counter. Punctual attendance is required in this position as the store attendant often works independently.

Experience

Customer facing experience is preferred but not required. Full training provided to eligible candidates. A positive attitude and friendly smile are required. Basic computer/tablet skills Retail Store Attendants are in a customer facing position and are required to abide by all company policies and procedures at all times. The ideal candidate for this position enjoys serving and helping others and has flexible availability. Being bilingual in English and Spanish is a big plus!

Physical Requirements

This position requires candidate to lift bags of laundry up to 40 pounds. Required standing for long periods of time. The ability to stoop on knees temporarily for cleaning and reaching supplies.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
