Job Summary

A busy family of four -- a couple and two school-aged children -- is seeking an experienced part-time laundress to work two full days per week at their private residence in Pinecrest, Florida.

The ideal candidate will be meticulous, reliable, and highly skilled in the care and maintenance of fine garments and household linens. This role focuses on complete household laundering, wardrobe care, and organization. Additional hours may be available for candidates with strong housekeeping skills who can assist with general household cleaning when needed.

Schedule

2 full days per week (flexible based on family's needs) Potential for additional hours if assisting with general housekeeping

Duties

Laundry for the family's personal wardrobe -- wash, dry, hand wash as needed, air dry, schedule dry cleaning pickups, coordinate dry cleaning returns, and assist with packing and unpacking for travel Wash, steam, and press children's school uniforms Wash, steam, and press the husband's business shirts Wash, fold, and lightly press master bedroom linens and household bedding Put clothes away neatly, organize closets, and handle shoe care and maintenance Care for laundry appliances, ensuring proper maintenance and cleanliness Keep an inventory of laundry and cleaning supplies and restock as needed Handle delicate fabrics and specialty garments with proper care Maintain organization and ensure all clothing and linens are cleaned, pressed, and stored neatly

Experience

Minimum 3 years of experience in a private home or similar setting Strong knowledge of fabric care, stain removal, and pressing techniques Familiarity with proper care for various fabrics and materials High attention to detail, discretion, and reliability
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
